The Lions club in Canton, GA, founded in 1932, is a local club of the international organization of Lions clubs based in Chicago, IL.
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.

MEETINGS
We meet regularly for lunch at 12 noon on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. Lunch meetings are held at the Downtown Kitchen which is 1 block from Main Street in downtown Canton at 140 East Marietta Street. The Downtown Kitchen is also 1 block from the Police Station in Canton. Depending on how close the January 1st and July 4th holidays fall on the calendar to our 1st Thursday meetings in those months, we might or might not, meet on the 1st Thursday in January or July. We typically have a Christmas party on an evening early in December and do not have any lunch meetings in December. If you wish to visit our club in January, July or December, please call our club telephone number or email us first to verify when and where we are meeting.
